چکیده

In the title compound, [Cu(2)(C(7)H(5)O(2))(4)(C(10)H(9)N)(2)], the paddle-wheel-type dinuclear complex mol-ecule contains four bridging benzoate groups and two terminal 3-methyl-quinoline ligands. The asymmetric unit contains one and a half mol-ecules with a total of three independent Cu atoms; there is an inversion center at the mid-point of the Cu⋯Cu bond in one molecule. The octa-hedral coordination of each Cu atom, with four O atoms in the equatorial plane, is completed by an N atom of a 3-methyl-quinoline ligand [Cu-N = 2.190 (4)-2.203 (3) Å] and by another Cu atom [Cu⋯Cu = 2.667 (1) and 2.6703 (7) Å]. The Cu atoms are all ca 0.22 Å out of the plane of the four bonded O atoms.

Tetra-μ-benzoato-bis[(quinoxaline)copper(II)]

The paddlewheel-type centrosymmetric dinuclear title complex, [Cu(2)(C(7)H(5)O(2))(4)(C(8)H(6)N(2))(2)], contains four bridging benzoate groups and two terminal quinoxaline ligands. The octa-hedral coordination around each Cu atom, with four O atoms in the equatorial plane, is completed by an N atom of a quinoxaline mol-ecule [Cu-N = 2.2465 (18) Å] and by the second Cu atom [Cu⋯Cu = 2.668 (5) Å...

Tetra-μ-2-methylbenzoato-κ8 O:O′-bis[(ethanol-κO)copper(II)]

In the title dinuclear complex, [Cu(2)(C(8)H(7)O(2))(4)(C(2)H(5)OH)(2)], four 2-methyl-benzoato anions form a cage around two Cu(II) ions in a syn-anti configuration. Two ethanol mol-ecules coordinate the Cu atoms in apical positions, giving an overall square-pyramidal coordination geometry. The Cu⋯Cu separation is 2.600 (1) Å. In the crystal, mol-ecules are assembled into chains extending in [...

Tetrakis[μ-2-(methoxycarbonyl)benzoato-κ2 O 1:O 1′]bis[(acetonitrile-κN)copper(II)](Cu—Cu)

In the binuclear copper(II) title complex, [Cu2(C9H7O4)4(C2H3N)2], an inversion centre is situtated at the mid-point of the Cu-Cu bond. The Cu(II) atom together with its four coordinated O atoms are in a distorted planar square arrangement while the nitro-gen and the other Cu(II) atom are located in apical positions. The whole mol-ecule looks like a paddle-wheel. In the crystal, chains are asse...

In the title compound, [Cu2(C7HF4O2)4(C12H8N2)2]·2H2O, the Cu(II) ion has a square-pyramidal coordination sphere. The basal plane consists of two N atoms [Cu-N = 2.008 (3) and 2.032 (3) Å] from the phenanthroline ligand, and of two carboxyl-ate O atoms [Cu-O = 1.942 (3) and 1.948 (3) Å] from two 2,3,4,5-tetra-fluoro-benzoate anions. Another 2,3,4,5-tetra-fluoro-benzoate anion provides the apica...

The title binuclear Cu(II) complex, [Cu(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(4)(C(5)H(4)Cl(2)N(2))(2)], is disposed about a crystallographic inversion center, located at the mid-point of the Cu-Cu connecting line. The Cu⋯Cu distance is 2.6600 (6) Å and each metal atom exhibits a Jahn-Teller-distorted octa-hedral geometry.
